MERCEDES BENZ GL 350 CDi LAUNCHED IN INDIA

Mercedes Benz introduced new Mercedes Benz GL class which comes under the SUV category in India last week. There are two models namely GL 350 CDi Executive and Laxury.

The Benz GL 350 CDi is powered by a 3.0L, 2987cc, V6 Diesel Engine which delivers a maximum power of 224 BHP @ 510 rpm. The maximum torque is 510 Nm @ 1600 rpm.
The new Mercedes Benz GL CDi class which is having a top speed of 210 kmph can attain a speed of 100 kmph under 9.5 seconds. The company claims that the new SUV has a mileage of 9 km/l in cities and 12km/l in highways. The Benz GL 350 CDi has a 7-speed automatic transmission.
The fuel used in Mercedes Benz GL 350 CDi is diesel and the tank capacity of GL 350 Cdi is 100 Litres.

HONDA CB TWISTER DETAILED SPECIFICATION

The Honda CB Twister was unveiled at the Delhi Auto expo conducted at the start of this year. Though the CB Twister is more costly than other 100 cc bikes, it has improved design and performance than them. Honda motors are introducing improved models of Stunner and Shine also so that the introduction of CB Twister does not affect their demand in the market. 3rd generation Unicorn was also unveiled recently. Design & Styling
Honda presents new CB TWister with a new design which is not much familiar in commuter bikes category. Attractive headlamp, screenless front cowl, floating side cowl, muscular fuel tank, instrument panel comprising of speedometer, fuel guage and indicator lights are the main features at the front side. Compact muffler, half chain-case and multi reflector tail lamp at the rear also adds to the cool look. In addition to maintenance free battery, Honda CB Twister is equipped with Viscous Air Filter. The Honda CB Twister is available in 5 colours- Pearl night star black, Electric Yellow Metallic, Pearl Fiji Blue, Pearl Siena Red and Candy Palm Green. The CB Twister comes in three variants - Kick Drum, Self Drum and Self Disc.

Technical Specifications
The heart of Honda CB Twister is the most modern 109cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine. This engine delivers a maximum power of 9 bhp @ 8000 rpm to CB Twister. The maximum torque is 9 Nm @ 6000 rpm.
New Honda CB Twister has 4-speed constant mesh gear box. The gear shift pattern is - 1st gear downwards and others upwards.



Drive & Comfort
Let it be a car or a scooter or a bike, it is not easy to find defficiencies in the technologies of Honda. Although there will be some problem regarding the overprice, we can't avoid Honda in the matter of Design and Perfection in Technology. This is one of the reasons why people trust Honda's vehicles.
Compared to other commuter bikes, Honda CB Twister's engine and Transmission keeps high standard. The 109 cc engine shows better performance even in low-end torques. The 240 mm disc break is efficient. Honda claims that CB Twister has a mileage of 70 km/L.

Yamaha India recently launched the special limited edition of their Yamaha R15 in a color combination of red and white.The new limited edition R15 also included with the same technology and uses the same engine as that of the normal edition.

Yamaha R15 Special Edition has a top speed of 135kph.The bike provides a mileage of 32.00kmpl in city rides and 43.00 kmpl during highway rides.The new Yamaha R15 Special Edition available with an on road price of about Rs. 1,11,000.

The new Yamaha R15 Special Edition is powered with a 149.8cc Fuel Injected liquid cooled engine that is capable of providing about 17bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 15 Nm at 7500rpm.This enable the bike to be the most powerful one under 200cc range.The R15 150cc 4 valve engine with forged pistons, Deltabox frame & 6-speed transmissions.

R15 Special Edition features tubeless includes F 80/90 -17 inches tyres in the front and 100/80-17 inches tyres in the rear.The new Special Edition R15 is shorter with overall length is 1995mm, overall width is 670mm, its wheels base is 1290mm and height is just 1070mm.

R15 Special Edition housed with an aluminum cylinder called the DiASil Cylinder and a forged piston, which is the same as used in Yamaha’s supersport bikes. R15 Special Edition is equipped with a large 3-liter air cleaner. The duct area of the intake duct was designed optimally to optimize the flow of intake air.
