This is the first picture of the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV ahead of the reveal tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show. The SV is for superveloce but it seems more supervelocissimo to us.
We know have our own shots of the Lamborghini LP 670-4 — straight from the bull's mouth. This confirms the earlier shot and, even better, a full press release proving everything we had heard about the new model.
Supporting what we've previously heard, the new ride is getting a horsepower increase to 670 HP and a weight reduction of 220 lbs relative to the already quick and nimble Lamborghini LP 640. The extra power and lower weight equals super acceleration, with a supposed 0-to-62 MPH time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of approximately 212 MPH.
This new data excludes the price of this 350-unit limited edition, but if everything else holds up it should go on sale in June with a price of approximately 25% more than the LP640, which is more money than the Jalopnik staff could pool together in a decade.
