Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV comes to Geneva Motor Show

This is the first picture of the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV ahead of the reveal tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show. The SV is for superveloce but it seems more supervelocissimo to us.

Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV -1LamborghiniWe know have our own shots of the Lamborghini LP 670-4 — straight from the bull's mouth. This confirms the earlier shot and, even better, a full press release proving everything we had heard about the new model.

Supporting what we've previously heard, the new ride is getting a horsepower increase to 670 HP and a weight reduction of 220 lbs relative to the already quick and nimble Lamborghini LP 640. The extra power and lower weight equals super acceleration, with a supposed 0-to-62 MPH time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of approximately 212 MPH.

This new data excludes the price of this 350-unit limited edition, but if everything else holds up it should go on sale in June with a price of approximately 25% more than the LP640, which is more money than the Jalopnik staff could pool together in a decade.
